Why the name, The Watchful Tiger?

The shop's name, The Watchful Tiger, was inspired by a dream that continues to powerfully affect the life of owner, Karen Landis. The Tiger befriended Karen and urged her not to follow the crowd, but to seek her own path. This was accompanied by reassurance from the Tiger that he would "watch" over her on her journey through the many transitions that life has to offer.

Every room in this charming turn-of-the-century house has been transformed into a unique showplace for clothing, accessories, jewelry, gifts, and floral arrangements. The atmosphere is both stimulating and serene. The selections are varied and the displays are works of art. The knowledgeable staff is always attentive and personable.
